ABSTRACT

Good afternoon. 1 I'm really enjoyin' my trip to Mississippi. On the way out here I drawed six Cadillacs in the backseat. Every time I come to a little town, I'd holler to my granddaughter, I'd say, "What's the name of this town?" And she'd tell me, and I'd put on the back of my Cadillac what town I was goin' through while I was a-drawin' on it. And I come to another town, do the same thing. And I had about six there started from subjects and town to town. And when they said, "We're now crossin' into the Mississippi line, we're right now crossin' over into Mississippi," I put on the back of that'n—"We're now crossin' over into Mississippi. This is Howard Finster's first Mississippi Cadillac." 2
