ABSTRACT
Mr. Steve Lansing: I meant to say a word or two of introduction. What I thought I’d do is just share with you an historical footnote that occurred to me. Our subject is description and modeling. Obviously, exploring what those tools do is one of the main reasons that we’re here, and we’re looking for patterns – the right level of abstraction to characterize those behaviors that we see in our experiments in different fields.
