ABSTRACT
Mental health promotion is context specific, so after presenting a case for a whole-school approach, this chapter offers suggestions and frameworks for whole-school professional learning (INSET) to develop a positive mental health promotion strategy that meets the needs of a school. This will include opportunities to explore existing understanding and attitudes towards positive mental health. The chapter is intended to be used alongside the audit in Appendices 1–11.
