ABSTRACT

The director should study every man and woman on his crew, just as he will study each member of his cast. Since each indi vidual reacts differently to outside stimuli, the director must subtly vary his approach to all crew members if he is to get their maximum output. Just as one individual differs to some degree from every other individual, so does each crew as a unit differ from others. This is most evident when working with crews of different nationalities.
