ABSTRACT
People aged 65 and over are eligible for Medicare. Medicare was administrated by the federal government only. People come to the US because its healthcare is well organized, it has money for research, and new machinery. In the US, if patients are wealthy, they can get any treatment, even if they are not a United States citizen. A lot of insurers, both private practice and private insurers and for-profit insurers, have Medicare plans. Insurance companies help the federal government to govern Medicare but not the people! For medication, in a social system, patients pay about 10–15 euros for most medicine. Obamacare was a disaster for the health insurance companies for their bottom line. The patient trusts the physician; the patient pays the physician; the physician takes care of the patient.
