Conclusion

The main objective of this textbook was to give the reader a comprehensible introduction to African cinema through three primary points of entry: the history, aesthetics, and criticism of African cinema. The study of these three aspects is critical to any serious attempt at understanding African cinema from the perspective of film studies.
