ABSTRACT

The use of terminology must be clear and consistent when changing the conversation. The use of terminology becomes important when discussing benefits realization management (BRM) with stakeholders who may not be as familiar with change initiatives as the delivery team. To ensure clarity of message, the language used should be unambiguous and consistent. There should be an accepted explanation for all common terms and a point of reference for all stakeholders to support all of the discussions relating to the initiatives and their benefits.
