ABSTRACT

Coordinating and realizing the benefits is one of the most significant and influential phases of the benefits life cycle. Figure 9.1 shows the process in context which is applied as the project(s) are completed. Products and outputs have been delivered, but now they must be put to work. It is only through the successful integration of these new products into the operational environment that there will be outcomes and then benefits. A project delivered on time and within budget is important. However, the return on the investment comes from the realization of benefits.
