ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the way to apply the total quality management in construction projects for engineering, contractors, and any supplier of the materials in the projects. A company's quality manual is the formal record of the firm's quality management system. It is obvious that the quality system should apply to all the companies and organizations, assuming that everyone in the company has a good quality system. The quality plan contains steps to achieve quality in a practical way with the order of action steps to reach the required quality in the project. The plan should be from the different departments involved with the quality control process. It is important to highlight that, in the mind of most civil engineers who is working on the site that there is a magic word "Factor of Safety" really this statement is famous due to lack of understanding the cause for a lot of problems or structure failures.
