ABSTRACT
R Markdown can be used to build websites, including general-purpose websites and personal blogs. This chapter introduces the blogdown package and rmarkdown's built-in site generator. The blogdown package is based on the static site generator Hugo. This chapter briefly introduces how to get started with a new website, a Hugo website's basic structure, and how to deploy websites to Netlify. It also contains the detailed documentation of rmarkdown's built-in site generator. If you only have a few Rmd files and want to build a simple website, you can consider this generator.
