ABSTRACT
This chapter is an overview of the R package rticles, which contains several journal templates. You can write journal articles in R Markdown with these templates. Basically each journal template boils down to a Pandoc LaTeX template, and you can provide the appropriate YAML metadata in R Markdown to be passed to the template to generate a correctly formatted PDF article. You can also create templates for other journals if they support LaTeX.
