ABSTRACT
The father of a 1-year-old boy brings him to the emergency department because his penis “doesn't look right.” The patient started crying last night and did not sleep well. Today, the father reports that the patient has been crying uncontrollably. When the father went to change the patient's diaper, he noticed that the penis appeared swollen, so he brought him to the emergency department. The father denies any trauma. No fevers, foul-smelling urine, or rashes.
