ABSTRACT
An 18-year-old male with no past medical history presents with the acute onset of left-sided chest pain while watching a hockey game with his parents. He describes it as a sudden, sharp pain which worsens with inspiration. He denies any trauma, palpitations, right-sided chest pain, dizziness, nausea, or vomiting. He has no fever and has not had any recent illnesses.
