ABSTRACT
This chapter closes by summarising and proposing future directions in managing Russian and Iranian intervention in Syria for US policy-makers, and it proposes a methodology for how Middle East scholars and policy-makers can best discuss, assess and evaluate foreign policy-making in non-democratic states.
