ABSTRACT

This chapter contains practice questions to help readers hone their knowledge and test their skills. It covers all five of the program management domains: Strategic Program Management, Program Management Life Cycle, Benefits Management, Stakeholder Management, and Governance. The purpose of the program supporting activities is to plan, monitor and control, and deliver program outputs and benefits. Program activities require the ones with functional groups in the organization but at a broader level than those involved with a single project. The areas are assessed in program formulation to confirm the program is a viable way forward for the organization and is aligned with strategic objectives. Program Integration Management is the core program activity. Strategic guidance and the program charter are the two activities from program governance. The validity of the business case is provided to program governance from program integration management and its supporting activities.
