ABSTRACT

This chapter contains practice questions to help readers hone their knowledge and test their skills. It covers all five of the program management domains: Strategic Program Management, Program Management Life Cycle, Benefits Management, Stakeholder Management, and Governance. Program planning begins when the program steering committee approves the program charter. The purpose of performance measurement is to ensure that the program remains aligned with the organization's strategic objectives to deliver the promised benefits. The program steering committee determines the level of change thresholds. The program change management plan and the level of change thresholds are the two outputs of the change management planning activity. By using a weight or probability based on the program's risk and complexity confidence factor is applied to the cost estimate. The program's risk register is the document to record the results of risk analysis and planning.
