Th e objective of strategic managing an organization is to ensure its sustainable development. Strategic managing includes the planning and controlling of the objectives, strategies, structures and cultures of an organization within its context. In order to realize an organization’s strategic objectives, the investment portfolio and project portfolio will also be planned and controlled. Investments and projects derive from an organization’s strategic objectives.
