ABSTRACT
This chapter offers an overview of how the career aspirations of Generation Z intersect with the jobs of the future; particular attention is paid to jobs that don’t yet exist as well as trending fields. A discussion is also included about what Generation Z seeks in a career and the avenues many are considering when it comes to their future careers such as forgoing college or taking time off before enrolling, gaining experience through apprenticeships or entry-level work, and engaging in entrepreneurship.
