ABSTRACT

This chapter begins with a discussion of Generation Z’s perspectives on the future, with a focus on their concern for having to address unresolved issues from today, needing to reverse regressive social change, and having to address problems left by older generations. Three main issues are discussed that those in Generation Z believe their generation will be grappling with in 30 years – environmental issues, human rights issues, and ethical dilemmas posed by the rapid advancement of technology. The chapter culminates with an examination of how those in Generation Z plan to leave a legacy in addressing these issues.
