ABSTRACT
This chapter provides readers an understanding of how twenty-first-century technology has influenced Generation Z. Particular attention is given to the evolution of today’s tech devices and how Generation Z engages in using each. In addition, this chapter highlights how this generation navigates life using wearable technology, payment apps, online shopping platforms, eMedicine, and GPS. Insight is also offered on how Generation Z uses technology to get the news, learn new information, and even entertain themselves. What might be most poignant about this chapter, however, is the overview of Generation Z’s use of various social media apps – what they use and why they use them.
