ABSTRACT
The research and review of different types of inverters are explained in this chapter. The different types of pulse-width techniques and their analysis are given. The chapter provides insight on the ideal choice of switching techniques for the inverters, which can also reduce the harmonics at the output end for power quality improvement. Line harmonics reduction in high power systems is proved with simulation evidence. The results and harmonic analysis show the effectiveness of the system under nonlinear loading conditions.
