ABSTRACT
This chapter on the Habermas/Rawls dispute has three parts. In part I, I offer some brief historical context to the dispute. In part II, I lay out and analyze the three main contributions to the 1995 exchange between Habermas and Rawls. In part III, I offer an evaluation of both sides of the dispute.
