ABSTRACT
Dan is in the library study hall sitting at a time-worn study table with his own classic green desk lamp shining light down for him. The study hall has a huge vaulted ceiling and the walls are punctuated with long, stained glass windows. Today’s task is to read a 25-page chunk of his history book, which has been assigned for tomorrow’s class. Looking around at the other students busy with their laptops and notebooks, he opens his book and begins to read, feeling very much like he fills the role of a successful student.
