I prefer the word testing, but it sounds scary. Evaluating isn’t nearly as scary, but sometimes you will actually run a test, then evaluate the results of the test.

So, pardon the Gollum like personality switch between the two terms that will occur throughout the book. Also, I’m not saying that tongue-in-cheek or to be witty, rather the process I am going to demonstrate for you throughout this book falls into the “What came first? The chicken or the egg?” conundrum. You will need to have a physical example in front of you to be able to learn to evaluate it for scale, but in order for you to have something to evaluate, you need to be able to create it.
