ABSTRACT

The most common complication after a liposuction is the residual fat (left over) and hollows. Until now we were correcting the postliposuction irregularities with autologous fat injections with no long-term results. Lipofilling alone has proved unsatisfactory in filling the irregularities. Fat transfer as we use and perform it today does not survive and is not a good solution to fill the postliposuction irregularities. After many years of disappointment with fat fillings, I have decided to shift the fat under the skin from the surrounding tissue into the hollow with no suctioning, air contact, or injecting. This author loosens the fatty tissue and shifts it under the skin with no liposuction and does not remove the loosened fat out of the body during this procedure. Afterward a special type of taping and fixation for 5 to 7 days is necessary. The results are so satisfactory that I want to introduce this method to help other plastic and aesthetic surgeons in further development and achievement.
