ABSTRACT
George Colony is the chairman of the board and CEO of Forrester Research. In 2000, he coined the term “X-Internet,” which predicted the end of the Internet as we know it. Colony’s idea was that the static Internet would all but disappear, to be replaced by a series of downloadable “executables” that would either replace or add to the functionality on a typical and user’s clients PC.
