ABSTRACT
Because we define X as an object, the combination of downloadable executables along with some content and functionality retrievable from a Web server, it is entirely possible that the legal issues surrounding this combined approach become a bit muddied. This chapter addresses typical legal issues surrounding a basic Web site. Then it delves into the issues surrounding those X executables.
