1. INTRODUCTION
Currently, most surgeons use glaucoma implants in cases of refractory glaucoma with
scarred conjunctiva and active inflammation as well as in cases of neovascular glaucoma.
Consequently, there is a higher risk for intraoperative and postoperative complications.
