ABSTRACT
Strictly speaking there is no such thing as ‘‘UVB’’ phototherapy since there are no radiation sources with an emission spectrum restricted to the UVB waveband and all emit longer and shorter wavelengths. However, wavelengths in the UVB waveband are responsible for most of the therapeutic effect.
