ABSTRACT
The SVT of H. sapiens has absolutely no redeeming feature other than facilitating speech. The small oral cavity contains 12 fewer teeth than our ancestors. Man is the only animal with impacted third molars. If infected, prior to antibiotics and dental extraction, this could lead to early death.
