Surgery is the mainstay of the treatment of malignant disease involving the uterine corpus. The nature of the surgery and its extent are the subject of ongoing debate, and there are still areas of significant controversy, which will be addressed in this chapter. Malignant disease of the uterine corpus falls into two major categories, namely endometrial carcinoma and uterine sarcomas, and these conditions will be addressed separately.
