ABSTRACT

Here we describe Campbell’s procedure associated with a vaginal colpohysterectomy in a patient without a marked cystocele. The order of the actions will vary if associated with the subvesical “plastron”, but, as the principal stages of this procedure will be discussed elsewhere (cf. chapter 16), we have decided to describe the intervention without an associated treatment for cystocele. In this case, the intervention will commence by an anterior “T”-shaped incision instead of an incision of the plastron.
