ABSTRACT

The old tear appears as a scarred transversal adhesion separating the ano-rectal and vaginal mucosa. The marking threads are placed at the level of the cutaneomucous delimitation, as well as at the vaginal position of the tear. The anal sphincter’s ends are easily identified by an absence of an anal fold in concurrence with a small depression. A thread marks the bottom of the rupture on the side of the anal mucosa. The Kocher forceps are positioned at the level of the incision’s cutaneous limits, but also across from the anal mucosa’s limits and the perineal cutaneous edges.
