ABSTRACT
The challenges, or opportunities, depending on your point of view, facing the IT security leader are daunting. The accelerating advance of technology coupled with the need for qualified staff make keeping up with the security needs to support the conduct of business in a secure and timely fashion will present a true challenge for the IT security leader. The situation is made even more complex in that most of the issues faced are not isolated. They can be successfully addressed only through a multifaceted approach that includes organizational, managerial, and operational aspects of the IT security issues associated with doing business.
