ABSTRACT
The typical reproductive season of common carp starts in the spring when water temperature reaches 17-20ºC. Carp is either spawned in designated small earthen ponds and the fry is collected for further growing later or more commonly spawning is induced by hormonal stimulation in hatchery conditions.
