ABSTRACT
Sperm cryopreservation for this species will allow researchers and aquaculturists to store sperm from males with selectively-bred traits, minimize the number of males required to be held in captivity and ensure availability of sperm when females are ready to spawn. Attempts to cryopreserve sperm on a small scale have been very successful [7]. This technique has not yet been modified for commercial-sized scale.
