Table B.1 provides a template to capture details for the 6 IA2 views by the 9 IA core principles, or 54 granular views of IA. This table may capture insights with regard to governance, management, building, operations, use, and leadership (the Organizational Context Framework [OCF]). If the table is applied to all six layers in the OCF, there will 324 views of IA with an organizational context. One instance of the table may capture governance insights with regard to compliance requirements and strategic objectives. Another instance of the table may capture management insights that convert strategic objectives to strategic plans, tactical objectives, and tactical plans. Are 324 views too many? A better question for you, the IA architect, is how many views are enough to satisfy the needs of the situation?
