ABSTRACT

On the basis of the large numbers of accidents involving carbon monoxide (CO), recent studies have asked questions about the public’s knowledge of the dangers of this gas.1 Our survey was conducted in the latter half of 2006 by sampling the opinions of people in Michigan (MI) and Florida (FL). The data derived from this survey are shown in Tables 15.1-15.13. Adult respondents belonged to civic and athletic social clubs. These data were analyzed by age groupings and by gender.
