ABSTRACT
Ultimately, Business Intelligence (BI) is about providing information to as many users as possible, to help them cut costs, increase productivity, or drive more revenue. The origins of BI are from the data warehousing, reporting, and query tools and applications that came bundled with enterprise applications and the tools and applications that arose to begin integrating all this data.
