ABSTRACT
Vietnam has a long and illustrious history of information services development - from the introduction of printing in the 14th Century, through the French influence in the 19th Century when many valuable collections and guidelines for libraries were developed, to the modern advances information services development, with some state-of-the-art information centers and services. The richness of the culture and the development of the society is reflected in the valuable collections and services currently offered in it's libraries, information centers, museums and archives.
