ABSTRACT
This entry describes the history and program content of the Acquisitions Institute at Timberline Lodge. The institute is an annual international library conference, held in mid-May in Oregon, focusing on issues pertaining to acquisitions, collection development, and technical services, primarily as relates to academic libraries.
