ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the developments and applications of bionanomaterials and the processes of drug developments and drug delivery mechanisms and discusses, along with the identified difficulties and advantages, the present state of bionanomaterials of clinical science. The integration of nanomaterials into the internal cavity of viruses has opened several prospects in the field of biology and medicine for imaging applications. The introduction of unnatural amino acid is utilized on peptides to enhance their metabolic stabilities and favorable pharmacokinetics. However, the limited amount of proteins like non-viral PNPs such as ferritin, Hsp, vault proteins, and virus-like particulates have been reported. Originally, lumazine synthase catalyzes the last stage of riboflavin biosynthesis in the cell. It is a question of self-assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of protein cages, along with understanding factors influencing their surface pores.
