ABSTRACT
This chapter is intended to provide the reader with an overview of the different components of sexuality, the development of sexual identity, the development of gender identity, sexual development, the factors that influence the timing of puberty, the sexual response cycle, sexual changes through the life cycle, sexuality across cultures, and sexual dysfunction.
