Bibliographic Control: Indexing And Abstracting Services In Biochemistry—A Chronological And Historical Approach

An overview of the indexing and abstracting services important to biochemistry is presented, preceded by an introductory history of this type of literature. Content and format of the major services are described, together with their bibliographic history. A review of on-line bibliographic services is also included as a modern complement to the older, traditional forms of bibliographic control.
