ABSTRACT
Techniques for retrieval of biochemical information through structure and substructure searching of the practicing biochemist. Commonly applied approaches to searching are reviewed, including Wiswesser Line Notation (WLN). Several of the newer computerized retrieval systems, both private and commercial, are discussed.
