ABSTRACT
Asymmetric Michael addition of miscellaneous carbon-centered nucleophiles such as nitroalkanes, cyanides, malononitrile, boronic acids and organozinc reagents in the presence of diverse chiral metal-ligand and organocatalysts is described in this chapter. This procedure affords novel multifunctional adducts with high yields and stereoselectivity under mild experimental conditions.
