ABSTRACT

Sustainable innovations help companies to achieve the goals of sustainable development by applying the principles of leadership and sustainable management. To transform an organization into a sustainable one, it is recommended to employ sustainable leadership. The implementation of sustainable development on the macro-level can be achieved by the sustainable and socially responsible business which would employ sustainable innovations on the micro-level by applying principles of sustainable leadership. A modern organization must focus on the importance of the contemporary approach, which is characteristic of leadership, viewing ahead, management of risks and knowledge, flat organization, empowering, self-control, teamwork, and learning oriented towards future needs. Sustainable development of organizations, creation of a sustainable, socially responsible organization, and other transformations of companies into sustainable ones are some of the most important factors in seeking sustainable development of the country. The implementation of sustainable leadership principles is the factor which allowed the companies to reach high organizational culture and to ensure their sustainable development.
