ABSTRACT

In the traditional strategic planning process, executives meet and outline several strategic objectives and then take them back to the rest of the company. When the Strategy Whiteboard was conceived, various business and academic books along with articles and other publications were reviewed. Sharing the strategic platform is a key component of integrating strategy in the company’s operations. In the Strategy Component of the Blendification System, the Strategic Leadership Team develops the Strategic Focus and Strategic Outcomes and outlines the initial Strategic Actions necessary to achieve the Strategic Outcomes. When executives go away for their annual strategy retreat, the strategies that come out of the event typically reside in a PowerPoint deck and are discussed at the highest levels of the company after the retreat. The “Activation Formula” became the formula for leaders to activate potential and achieve Earned Success.
