ABSTRACT
The relevance of this work is due to the need to diversify the directions of export of Russian gas through the development of the industry of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The specificity of LNG projects is such that due to their high capital intensity and low prices for LNG in the world market, such projects are mainly focused on the achievement of external effects. The authors of the article defined the concept of sustainable development in the context of project management, analyzed the specifics of Russian LNG projects, defined the concept of sustainability of the LNG project, proposed a list of indicators to assess the sustainability of LNG projects taking into account the interests of stakeholders.
