ABSTRACT
Rationale development of the reservoir with a massive gas cap is relevant for a lot of oil and gas companies. The main problems of such challenge are the formation of gas cones, which lead to gas breakthroughs to production wells. The article describes the methods of the development of reservoir with a gas cap. The article considers three options for oil recovery from the gas cap reservoir using the example of the tNavigator training model: option 1 - operation of vertical production wells, option 2 - operation of horizontal exploitation wells, option 3 - formation of an insulating screen at the gas-oil contact.
